GovernmentWe service the following areas within the North Township (Hammond, Highland, Munster, Whiting, & East Chicago) in the event of a disaster. COVID-19 Response: Catholic Charities and North Township have partnered to provide delivery of food baskets to disabled and seniors 65 and older. Residents must live in the following cities to receive a delivery of food: East Chicago, Hammond, Highland, Munster or Whiting. If you have clients/residents that are seniors (65+) or disabled, please call 219-306-1344 to setup a time for delivery. Delivery will be available until March 31, 2020
