Healing Hearts For Teens

Each year, thousands of teenagers experience the death of someone they love. When a parent, sibling, friend or relative dies, teens feel the overwhelming loss of someone who helped shape their self-identities. These feelings about death become a part of their lives forever. At Healing Hearts for Teens, we provide support while allowing the young person a chance to learn about both the joy and pain that comes from caring deeply for others. Sarah Ticich leads this series of six sessions that address the special needs and relationships of the grieving teen. The sessions are held at the Hospice of the Calumet Area office, 600 Superior Ave., Munster, Indiana. Please contact our office at 219.922.2732 or reach out to our Bereavement Facilitator Sarah Ticich at sticich@hospicecalumet.org if you would like additional information or need help.
